Youth Matters – new journal column

youth matters

Salisbury partners are proud to support the new editorial column of the Salisbury Journal – Youth Matters.  This is an exciting new development, as a direct consequence of public engagement at the Children’s Chance “Question Time” event earlier this year, when over 100 local people, including a good number of young people attended to debate the topic of child poverty.  An important need expressed at that event was for young people to have the means to express views about their local area, and to feel that they can genuinely influence change for the better.  This new editorial column is designed to make that happen.

The first Youth Matters column was published in the 21st September edition of the journal, and the next is due on the 19th October.  For more information, and to contribute material for this column, please contact Jane Miller : jane.e.miller@btinternet.com, or Karen Linaker : karen.linaker@wiltshire.gov.uk
