The Wiltshire Business Expo is back for 2016 and in April the popular event will take place for the first time in Salisbury Market Square as part of Salisbury Big Business week.
The theme for the 2016 Expo is Marketing and Finance, with talks and workshops throughout the day and evening from experts in these sectors.
Fleur de Rhe-Philipe, Wiltshire Council cabinet member with responsibility for economic development and skills, said:
“This promises to be an extremely useful networking event for businesses a chance for local business leaders to raise the profile of their business and explore beneficial relationships with other organisations in the county.”
Part of Wiltshire Council’s Legacy for Wiltshire programme, the Business Expo was first created to build on the momentum of 2012’s Olympic and Paralympic Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The Wiltshire Business Expo was first held in June 2013 at the Civic Centre in Trowbridge and created an opportunity for businesses to network and promote local products and services to other businesses and members of the public. It also offered an opportunity for attendees and exhibitors to listen to inspiring speakers. It ran again the following year in marquees in Monkton Park, Chippenham.
