Walking Netball in Salisbury!

Walking Netball in Salisbury!

Wiltshire Council is currently working in partnership with England Netball to deliver Walking Netball sessions across the county. Walking Netball involves delivering the traditional game at walking pace, making sessions more accessible and creating a fun and social sporting opportunity. Walking Netball is suitable for people of all ages and abilities including individuals who have stopped playing due to injury, those who have never played the game or older people looking to increase their activity levels. Sessions also provide a great way to socialise with other like-minded individuals and to meet new friends whilst also offering participants the opportunity to be physically active and improve their health and fitness.

The sessions take place on the indoor courts at Five Rivers Health and Wellbeing Centre on Monday evenings 5-6pm costing £3 per session. You are also encouraged to come and join us in the café for a cup of tea afterwards!

For further information or to register an interest to participate in the walking netball sessions please contact Becca Higgs, Sport Development Officer, Wiltshire Council on: 07854 509219 or email Becca.Higgs@wiltshire.gov.uk
