Volunteer for Warm and Safe Wiltshire

Like helping others? Why not become a local energy advice volunteer?

Help organise events to raise awareness of energy issues. No experience needed, as training is given. Accompany advisors on home visits to advise on energy saving changes and managing bills. Help people take advantage of any grants or support available to them. Give talks to local groups.

Warm and Safe Wiltshire is a service provided by the Centre for Sustainable Energy on behalf of Wiltshire Council and Swindon Borough Council. We need your help in keeping those struggling in your area to stay warm and healthy in their homes and to lower fuel bills.

We will be running training on the 20th March (lunch included) which will cover all the basics of what you need to know. You will also receive lots of on the job training when you are out and about with our advisors, and out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.
