A programme of fantastic entertainment and events in Salisbury is on offer this Easter weekend.
People are encouraged to take advantage by using the free car parks and free park and ride on offer in the city to experience bunny hunts and trails, a dinosaur show, a comedy performance, Cathedral activities, an opera, the charter market and much, much more.
Salisbury was vibrant and bustling last weekend and many people on social media reported that the car parks in the city were close to capacity, the park and ride buses were well-used, and many businesses commented how busy they were over the two days. Twitter users commented that it was “really busy everywhere”, there were “lots of people around”, and it was “good to see Salisbury so busy over the weekend”.
We are keen to maintain this positive momentum and encourage people to come and visit the city and enjoy the programme of events and activities on offer this Easter.

Baroness Scott OBE, leader of Wiltshire Council, said: “Salisbury is a wonderful place to live, shop and work, and I’m delighted that the city is getting busier and that while it’s still early days signs of recovery are underway. It’s vital that we do all we can to support the local businesses and traders and encourage people to visit and shop and enjoy the activities and attractions that the city offers.
“Over the coming weeks we will be doing everything we can to promote all that is great about Salisbury.”
