To local groups helping people living in fuel poverty

You are invited to attend National Energy Action’s FREE Community Action on Fuel Poverty workshop.
Where: Sanford House, Sanford Street, Swindon, SN1 1HE
When: Tuesday 21st February, 9.30am – 1pm (including lunch)

The interactive workshop will introduce a new resource – the Community Action on Fuel Poverty website. Designed with local community and voluntary groups in mind, the workshop will guide you through the website to relevant information and free resources to assist you to help people who might struggle to keep their homes warm affordably, who might suffer illness as a consequence of a cold home, or endure the worry of not being able to pay energy bills.

Find out what help and services are available and how the resource can help your group to plan, develop and deliver your own fuel poverty activities. The website is aimed at groups with limited experience of delivering affordable warmth work.

There’s even an opportunity to win £100 through a free prize draw to deliver a fuel poverty activity/event. See the attached flyer for more details.

Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. Sign up is via the web link: http://www.nea.org.uk/the-difference-we-make/events/keeping-warm-winter-community-action-fuel-poverty-Swindon/
