Stroke Awareness

Stroke Awareness

Do you or your colleagues work with stroke survivors?

Would you like to have a better understanding of stroke and how to best support stroke survivors?

I am pleased to invite you, on behalf of Wiltshire Council and the Stroke Association, to attend one of our Stroke Awareness workshops which are being held at a number of venues across the county during February and March 2017.

The aim of these workshops is to give a better understanding of:
• what a stroke is
• the lasting effects of stroke
• how best to support stroke survivors in your day-to-day work.

Particular focus will be given to the physical, emotional, cognitive and communication issues which many stroke survivors have to deal with every day.

These events are FREE to attend and you will be provided with a certificate for your CPD.
