Salisbury’s mental health support group

Wiltshire Mind provides nine support groups for those with mental health issues around Wiltshire including one in Salisbury which meets on a Friday between 10.30 am and 1.30 pm in a community hub above the SP2 Coffee Shop (159-161 Fisherton Street SP2 7RP).

Wiltshire Mind are delighted to announce the recent award of a vital grant from Salisbury Area Board of £1,199. The grant will help the important mental health peer support group continue to operate its weekly service in Salisbury. The group provides crucial support for adults of all ages with all types of mental health issues from low level depression and anxiety through to the more severe such as schizophrenia, bipolar etc. Support and help is provided to all including those who have left statutory mental health services and need help to rehabilitate into daily life and their communities. The group offers one to one support together with group activities and talks.  We work to improve the mental health of all attendees to improve their lives, reduce isolation and enable community involvement.
