Salisbury & South Wilts Scouts

Explorer Scouts from Salisbury & South Wilts District have just returned from Snowdonia where they took part in the Wiltshire Scouts 59th Midwinter Expedition. This annual event to different locations in the UK is for hill walking in wild country with an aim of not only achieving tops but to increase their skills at navigation and walking in winter conditions. They had four good days of walking and the picture shows them preparing to climb Moel Eilio at 726 metres. The picture also shows our minibus which was purchased last year assisted through generous grants made by the Salisbury and the Southern Wiltshire Area Boards.
