Salisbury FC supporters club presents petition to the Area Board

Fans and those connected with Salisbury FC turned out at the Area Board last night to present a petition of around 6000 names in support of getting the club back playing in the Raymond McEnhill Stadium. Director of the newly formed Salisbury FC, Dave Phillips, outlined the situation and introduced the directors, including manager Steve Claridge.

Portfolio Holder for Leisure and Sport, Jerry Kunkler spoke at the meeting and offered his support to the new consortium. The Area Board went on to unanimously agree the motion that offered the Area Board’s support and agreement to write to the trustees of the Raymond McEnhill stadium.
