Salisbury Area Board public meeting with Highways England re. A36 Southampton Rd

The Salisbury Area Board next meets on the 5th January 2017, 6.30pm for 7pm at City Hall.  Hot topics on the agenda are:

  • discussion with Highways England about the A36 (congestion, litter, flooding)
  • new funding to improve the city’s badly worn pavements
  • the city’s new flood plan
  • how to take forward new community priorities for the city, including mental health, social isolation for older people, rough sleeping, healthy lifestyles and improved training and skills to strengthen the local economy.

The board will also consider a number of grant applications and hear updates from partners regarding community policing matters, the work of BID and the city council, and recent discussions at Health & Wellbeing Group and Child Wellbeing Group meetings.
