Rising Stars Sports Club

Rising Stars Sports Club

Rising Stars is a community based sports group for young people with SEN and/or disabilities between the ages of 8-16 years old. The club encourages young people to explore new activities and sports. Participants develop social, personal, creative and learning skills as well as benefiting from improved confidence and self-esteem. A range of sports and activities are delivered ranging from ball skills to athletics, with all activities being adapted to ensure everyone can take part.

Following the success of a recent trial session held in Salisbury, a weekly club has now been developed within the area. The club takes place every Friday afternoon during term time from 4-5pm at Sarum Academy. For older participants there is a chance to become a volunteer at the club, supporting the sports coaches in setting up and delivering the sessions.
