Police and Crime Commissioner Angus Macpherson has invited applications to join his team.

The Commissioner whose office is based at Police Headquarters in Devizes  said ” My role is to keep Wiltshire and Swindon safe. Making sure that the police and justice system meets the needs of the county and that Wiltshire Police are held to account for delivering an efficient, effective and trusted service.

“I work with a dedicated small team who support me in my role, from managing my diary to leading on community policy. Every day in the office is different as we respond to the needs of the community.

“I would welcome applications from flexible and adaptable people, to join our team in the roles of Personal Assistant (£21,171 – £22,101 per annum pro rata,  part time 22.5 hours per week) and Restorative Justice Administrator (£19,732 – 20,763 pro rata, part time 25 hours per week).

 We are looking for people who have excellent IT skills, are able to communicate in a professional manner and be comfortable dealing with confidential information.

“Both these roles will mean working closely with other professional within the police and across the county, and with members of the public. These roles are working in a busy environment and can be demanding so they would suit people who are up for a challenge.”

The closing date for applications for the role of Restorative Justice (RJ) Administrative close on Wednesday 10 August and for the role of Personal Assistant close at noon Friday 12 August 2016.
