Mental wellbeing research project

Mental wellbeing research project

We are looking for volunteers who are willing to be part of a national community mental wellbeing research project. The aim of the project is to see what impact community learning courses have on peoples confidence, motivation and self-esteem.
Research volunteers will be experiencing or have experienced mild to moderate wellbeing issues such as difficulty sleeping, regular anxiety, feeling worthless, low-level depression. Volunteers must be 19 years of age plus and be willing to complete some self-assessment forms about their mental wellbeing.
For the project we are offering FREE courses which are designed to be creative and practical to build confidence and self-esteem such as healthy cooking, yoga, confidence and self-esteem, arts and crafts. The courses are generally 3 hours/week over 5 weeks.
Please get in touch with The Learning Curve on 01225 792 500 and ask for James Ward to find out more.
