Make sure you are registered to vote in the referendum

Make sure you are registered to vote or face not having your say in the upcoming Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) election and EU referendum.The PCC election is on Thursday, 5 May, and the EU referendum on Thursday, 23 June.

The deadline to register to vote in the PCC election is 18 April, and the deadline for postal vote applications is 19 April. Proxy votes need to be registered by 26 April, and nominations for candidature close on 7 April (4pm).The deadline to register to vote in the EU referendum is 7 June, and the deadline for postal vote applications is 8 June. Proxy votes need to be registered by 15 June.Registering to vote only takes a few minutes and all you need to complete the process is your date of birth and National Insurance number.
