Lots going on at your local Leisure Centre

Do-something

It’s September, children have gone back to school and the summer is drawing to a close. However it’s also the opportunity to start something new and maybe even take that first step towards a healthier lifestyle!

On Thursday 21 September, World Alzheimers Day, Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre will be taking part in a spinathon battle with the nine other Wiltshire Council leisure centres, in aid of Alzheimers Support, our Wiltshire branch supporting local people with dementia. Sign up to ride on our static bike for a 20 minute slot – whether you are a member or not, and see which leisure centre can go the furthest in 12 hours! Simply come in and sign up at reception.

Wednesday 27 September is National Fitness Day and we’re waiving the admin fee on our Life Zone, Fitness Zone and Swim Zone memberships for the day – saving you £15, as well as finding out what ‘fitness means to me’ from our members – watch out for this on our facebook page.

In October, Calne Leisure Centre are holding their 10th anniversary Clock Change Challenge on the 29th with a 1.5km fun run, 5km and 10km race all available. Help make this a memorable event by signing up now via www.wiltshire.gov.uk/leisure-events

With all this going on it’s still worth remembering that we have memberships available from £17.50 per month with a variety of options to suit your individual needs. Simply click on the find out more button below for more information or come into the centre on Hulse Road, Salisbury, to have a look around and talk to staff about your requirements.
