On the 9th February from 4.30pm to 6.30pm, you are invited to come along to the grand opening ceremony of the Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre.
The centre has been operating following redevelopment works completed in spring 2016, but it is now set to be officially opened by Baroness Jane Scott, Leader of Wiltshire Council on the 9th February.
There will be additional activities for all ages to take part in during the ceremony, including a circus skills workshop, balloon modelling, face painting, crèche, arts and crafts workshop, healthy eating workshop, a mini jobs and volunteering fair, an over 60s dance showcase, and musical performances by Salisbury Cathedral School and Starcast.
With the centre serving as a campus for services and the community to work together around local priorities, other organisations to be represented on the day so far include the city council, police, fire, health, SW Mencap, Royal British Legion, Citizens Advice Wiltshire, Age UK, Dementia Advocacy, Salisbury’s Children’s Centres and Salisbury Museum.
