Inclusive and supportive music education and opportunities

This conference will support music leaders, teachers and organisations who are working with children and young people to develop outstanding practice, knowledge and skills to work more effectively across the sector.

Delegates will receive:

  • Hands on, practical workshops. Warm- up activities and ideas, improvising, composing/devising for different settings.
  • SEND and Inclusion focused discussions led by leading practitioners in the areas of Inclusion.

Including presentations by:

  • the OHMI Trust – who are pioneering the development and adaptation of musical instruments for those who are physically disabled.
  • Mathew Hemson- Therapeutic Music Interventions for Children and Young People.

A carousal of examples of best practice offering peer to peer learning from music leaders working in a variety of different settings. Wellbeing and SEND settings- inclusive practice.

Delegates will also leave with a personalised action plan
