Free art and craft workshop at Five Rivers Open Day

Free art and craft workshop at Five Rivers Open Day

Children and young people are invited to come and build a giant bike model out of arts and craft materials at Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre tomorrow, 15th October.

The craft session is being facilitated by local professional artist Charlotte Moreton and has been funded by the Salisbury Area Board.

Come along at 10.30 am to take part, and then, why not spend the day at the centre, enjoying some of the many leisure activities, or take part in the all day circus skills workshop, get your face painted, and then join in a free healthy eating demo at 2pm – also funded by the board.

The Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre opened in March this year and is proving to be a valuable facility, not just to come and get sporty, but to come and hold community meetings, run networking or profile raising events, facilitate dance projects and to display art in the new community exhibition space.
