Echoes from Home charity concert

“Echoes from Home” will be an evening of music reflecting places from around the world, presented by Frida Backman (violin), Helena de Rijke (harp), Jennifer Porcas (cor anglais), Ute Schwarting (piano) and Lynda Smith (piano).
The performers all have roots in different countries and they have chosen music inspired by Spain, China, India, France, Bohemia, Finland and North America.
It will be an exciting and eclectic mix of 19th to 21st century music, including Kreisler, Satie, Dvorak, Vaughn Williams, Copland and Gershwin. Living composers too will be represented: Liz Sharma, Sadie Harrison, Jeremy Dale Roberts and Harri Wessman.
Saturday, 12th November, 7:30pm at Salisbury Methodist Church.
This concert is in aid of Salisbury Trust for the Homeless.
Tickets £10 (children and full-time students FREE). Available from Music Room (01722 322278) and on the door.
