Last night, members of the public, councillors, grant applicants, community group members, business representatives and police and fire officers met at City Hall for the second meeting of the Salisbury Area Board since the May Wiltshire Council elections.
Key topics being debated included a review of the Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre’s shuttle bus service, investment needed to replace and repair street name plates and bus stop signs in the city, and proposals for the November 2018 end of the first world war commemorations.
A total of £16,600 was awarded to local community projects.
