A simple guide to dementia services in Salisbury

dementia-guide

The Safer & Supportive Salisbury Community Group, which amongst a number of things, organises the Safe Places scheme and oversees the Dementia Friendly Community work in Salisbury, launched a new simple guide on dementia services last week at the Christmas Market. The guide was sponsored by a private donor and edited by Anne Trevett, Secretary of the Safer & Supportive Salisbury Group.

One of the main reasons for producing this hard copy guide is that there are many services and sources for help for people living with dementia, and sometimes what is on offer and where to access it can be confusing.

The hard copy guide will help those who find accessing support and services online challenging. It will be distributed across the Salisbury Community Area over the coming weeks, in GP surgeries, the library, churches and other public places.
For more information about this guide, please contact Anne on 01722 326261.
