8000 spectators lined Salisbury’s streets

Picture no.1

Wiltshire Council and Salisbury City Council really pulled out all the stops yesterday, putting on a spectacular city centre event, as part of their ongoing partnership pledge to help recover and renew Salisbury following the poisoning incident in March.

The event saw elite cyclists compete on the city’s streets as part of the OVO Energy Tour Series, attracting 8000 spectators of all ages, to watch and take part in a family fun filled day.

Thank you to all who visited, took part, led, supported and joined in the amazing community spirit that was very evident throughout the day.

Looking forward to the next event!
