Based in Tidworth
Starting salary: £25,000 – £27,000 plus pension (pro rata)
Contract: Part time 2.5 days a week, initial fixed term until 31 October 2015 with potential to extend
We are looking for a part time Facilitator to develop and grow the Tidworth Time Credits network across Tidworth, enabling and incentivising more people to get more involved in their local communities.
Spice is working in partnership with Wiltshire Council, the Ministry of Defence and local community groups to connect military and civilian families across Tidworth through community activity. Time Credits strengthen and build communities by engaging those who may not normally get very involved in their local area, as well as by encouraging people to be involved in different ways in order to add a new dimension to their lives (and the community).
You will support the growth of Time Credits across in Tidworth; your main area of focus will be to use Time Credits to connect military and nonmilitary families across Tidworth, achieving two key objectives:
Encourage activities which integrate the armed forces community into local life
Encourage the armed forces community to help and support the wider community through events, joint projects and other forms of engagement.
